5 seasons of baby steps and they're baby steps backwards. If it made any sense, I'd be fine with it. I'm a Nate Magness injury from potentially taking 2 of 3 from Washington... then lose 4 straight to an expansion team... and 4 not even close games. Anyway... boo hoo.

At least your prospects are progressing nicely! If I had a nickel for every guy who turned south after being drafted by me... good news was I didn't get an email from my scout this sim after 3 straight sims of bad news.

Seriously though, your squad lost a lot of close games. At least your pen didn't blow a 4 run lead in the 9th like mine

The 1982 expansion teams are getting owned by injuries too :( Me and chippered have it rough

Finally, a good sim. 5-2 to climb to 9-10. And my guys are hitting the ball hard. Things are heating up if you're not named Chandler.

            Couple things:

            1) Either one of my exports didn't go through or I'm getting forgetful. Probably the latter. Normally I wouldn't say anything but it was my second export in which I placed C Houck on DFA... so since it didn't go through, he played for me this sim. I could have sworn I exported because I also called up a guy to man the #5 spot, but it stuck with the 4 man rotation I thought about doing at first.
            2) I claimed Ken Henshall off of waivers from Philly, and it placed him in A. Dunno if this is the same as the gentlemans agreement since I claimed him after the first week, or if we're even still on the gentlemans agreement after Andrew's comments and co-commish Clay's quasi agreement. He also was in AAA when I claimed him. If I need to put him on the active roster, I'll do it. If he needs to be waived to be placed in AAA, I'll do that too. Anyways, just thought I would put this stuff out there so if someone has a problem with it I'm not trying to hide it or anything.

              16-3 without Gremades...very nice.

Don't know what the hell I'm going to do with Nazaire once EG comes back in a week or two...dude's hitting .380.

I'm pretty sure you swept my team last sim.

This sim, we swept Windy City. We may have lost to Davenport, but we at least swept those damn Playboys. And really, that's all that matters.

bench the bum. safe to say, your team is MASHING the ball right now.

as for my dinos, lost 2 of 3 to SC (which I hate), but swept LL in a 4 game set (which I love). My pitching has been surprisingly decent... taking Joe White out of the closers role and putting him in setup and moving Joe Moran into that spot seemed to solidify our bullpen. Re-picking up Llanusa and Quintones might be the thing that puts me in the playoffs this year.

Worse yet, it was to your favorite team in the league. Krsnich's only runs given up all season!!

Joe Discur is hitting .113.....get Rogado in the lineup.

I think that Nate Magness injury saved him from being embarrassed.

Unreal how well your team is playing. You could always play Nazaire at DH, and move McGee back to catcher. Might hurt your defense a bit, but keeping Nazaire's bat in the lineup would be huge.

                    ***

4-2 sim. Won two of three against Virginia, and three of four against Wilmington. Solid homestand.

Rookie 3B Brody Whitely (I think he is eligible) is hitting .421 with a 1.018 OPS! I don't expect it to continue, but it is great to see players picking up the slack for Joe Sierra.

                      Then I have nowhere to put Clapp...can I get a 2nd DH?

At least Dani Alvarez continues to drive in runs. 23 RBI for the rookie through 18 games.

You really need to raise your expectations.

                            our games were close:

A wild pitch in the 9th allowed allowed us to score the winning run in game one.

your guy, B. Johnson grounded out with the tying run on base in the bottom of the 9th of the 3rd game.

Medina for us hit a walk-off 2 run shot to win the last game of our series.

The 2nd game of the series was the only blowout game we had.

Might I suggest... perhaps moving the SIM up to like 8:00? The game tips at 8:30ish right? Why don't we bump the sim up to 7 or 8.... then it's done and you don't have to worry about doing it after the game or in the morning.

                                Just a thought.
