I don't believe the game handles it like that. From what I've seen it goes strictly by record.

Regardless, Morgantown should get 1st priority anyways because they are an expansion team.

Nobody knows for sure. Who were the guys you claimed? If you still want them you may have state your case and try to prove you actually made a claim.

In game I went to the waiver wire and selected claim player on Soto, SP from the Slammers and Houck, C from Hartford. Right after each one it said something to the effect that the claim was successful, in a pop up message. I didn't get any emails or anything this sim about either one. Is this the the way to do it?

In any event I am not too worried about it, especially Soto the SP. I would like to still claim Houck though. But I am fine going as is, I really don't know what I am doing anyways yet.

It is my understanding that that is the way you are supposed to do it and what you describe is exactly what happens when I make a claim; I get the popup saying my claim was accepted but the game almost never processes anything beyond that - no email and no player. I also post my claims in the waiver forum to document that I made the claim or at least that I wanted to.

I think you should get both Soto and Houck and I would make a post in the commissioner "to do" thread requesting that both of those players be moved to your DFA list next sim.

I don't think he is around to fight for his player(s) if he did, so you ought to win this one unless Syracuse or Hartford indicates that they received an email indicating that Batavia made a claim for one of those guys.

It's a fielding rating... much like rating at 1B,2B,SS,3B etc... would be.

You can still use the Utility and go to Last Sim results... for whatever reason, that loaded all of the results and stats from the previous week (at least at the BLB level)...

You should be able to look at it from there.

The last sim utility is loaded from the .csv files that are exported. The HTML still isn't working. i can't even get the game to re-create the archive now. I'm going to just try it again after Tuesday's sim and hope it straightens itself out.

Sadly, I spend most of my time looking at the HTML to pass the hours.
