      Unbelievable

I get another email that a player took a ratings hit. I'm still waiting for my first email that somebody improved

We now have a 0.0% chance at the division or wildcard according to the utility. See you guys next year.

SP was good. Hitting was good. Bullpen struggled, but Liggins was battling an injury and didn't see the mound too much.

Alvarez is off to a good start.

Our 1st game in the BLB ends with a W. The next game we get rocked 12 to 1, but hey at least we went 4-2 in the 1st sim ever for the Mohawks. It's all downhill from here more than likely.

Laugh now... but water finds it's level.

With my starting pitching all jacked apart with my #1 and #4 hurt... I had low expectations for the first month. Lost an extra innings games on Opening Day, came back with a brilliant pitching performance from Ghainiy... then really just ran into a buzz saw in Baltimore. The way Latham and Tandy were playing... I didn't stand a chance.

Wilton Harcourt and Tim Murcott didn't hit at all this week... but they will.

O'Hegarty, Hernando and Greenham were all very, very good. The bullpen was decent. The Skull got rocked in his BLB debut... but I expect early struggles. The most encouraging part is the "type" of team that I wanted to build is starting to take shape. It's just a week... but leading the IL in Stolen Bases and BBs are the types of things I see as strides. We want to get on base... steals em... small ball it.

It's going to be a long year in VA... but we're not the worst team in the BLB. It's 6 games.

The Skull needs to go to AAA.

The Skull could very well go to AAA when Oyos comes back. He's changed his "demand" from Starting Rotation to Bullpen... which I'm not taking as a good sign for development.

Except for the back-to-back shutout losses to Los Alamos.

Can't complain about a 4-2 sim although I'd like to have taken 2 from Washington. My pen started off very rough but settled down with those two 1-0 wins over Wilmington.

I never got back to do more predictions yesterday... but one of the ones I had jotted down was Howard Haydon would win the DL Batting Title. So far so good....

My prediction in the "Call Your Shots" thread a few weeks ago also said we'd get our first 50 HR season. Again... only 1 week... but bats are booming right now.

All joking aside, I'd send him down right now...

Don't want to wreck him, or his ratings with another bad outing or two.

If he changes it from Bullpen to Outfield, then you may have Rick Ankiel on your hands.

LOL - If I could get some HGH... I'd take a Rick Ankiel right now. Diesel?

Well, it's a gamble if I do keep him up... but his current ratings are still solid... it's a tough decision. I worry more about the constant up and down with AAA damaging him more than a few bad starts.

2-4 sim and the offense was just terrible. We lost two 3-2 games to Los Lunas the opening series, and I can't help but wonder if George and Halpern would have helped. Best performance of the sim for me is from journeyman SP Phil Mercier, who went 7.1 for only one earned on 124 pitches. At 32, he's getting his first shot to start the season and hopefully stay in the bigs. I think he could be pretty solid.
