  • OOTP 2007 Suggestion Thread

Hey guys. Just to let you know, robster and I will be part of the beta team for OOTP 2007. (*pushes up glasses*)

There have already been a huge amount of suggestions made for next years version, but we still have some pull on stuff that gets added or changed over the next few months.

Post any specific suggestions you guys have and I'll try to bring them to the attention of the dev team.

One thing I'd like is a little better control over my bench. Like the ability to specify who I'd like my first, second, third guys off the bench to be against RHP and LHP.

    NEW ORLEANS DUKES since 1993

I'd like to see them bring the player scouting report back, not just ratings.

I expect them to bring back the ability to specify your pinch hitters (vsLH and vs RH) as well as defensive subs. Is this what you mean?

I also have suggested they bring back 7 day lineups. Basically, you can set up your lineup for the whole week which works perfectly for online leagues.

These were all things that were in 6.5 for those that didn't play it.

Yes, that is what I mean. And 7-day lineups (and rotations presumably) would be really nice to have. As would an ability to alter your strategy settings during a week of games. If I have three games at home and then three on the road, I might not necessarily want to play the same kind of baseball in both environments during that week.

            Enhanced Closer control.

You should be able to specify what types of situations you want your closer in. Do you want him in for 2 innings? Only in 1 run games? With the game tied? How many innings can he go? etc.
