  • I'm on Auto right now. If it gets hung up on me, just auto for me.
    Thanks.

    • Scratch that. I'm on Auto From List.

      • Weird. I was on auto from list and it wasn't going.

Made the pick anyway. Was anyone high on 3B Pancho Cervantes? I liked the SP Bo Mok, Andrew. Great name as well.

          • The Colonials finally pick again and take Yannick Caruso - The Argentinian Love Machine. We do so love the high G/F% rating here in VA.

I had him on my list.

4-3-5 from every scout. Good endurance. Good hold runner. Amazing groundball.

              Good pick for this late.

                  • Picked a couple scrubs lately, but we like them. Manny Ramirez had decent ratings from our head scout but we mostly drafted him just to get to say "Manny being Manny."

SS Curt Bolton plays all four infield positions at a high level, and our scouts see him as a fairly average hitter but with a good eye and avoid k's and very good baserunning skills. We'll take that this late in the draft.

                    • I had my eye on Manny. I was hoping to grab him in the near future.

                      • Andrew's holding up the draft again.

We need to get into the double-digit rounds... that's where I've been making hay lately.

I'd love to argue, but you are the #1 system.

                          • It's Tampa Rays syndrome... you draft in the Top 5 enough years in a row... your system is going to at least get good on paper.

But, I have found some nice players in the 7th Round and later lately. Reigning ILA Player of the Week was a 15th Rounder... my top hitter in Single A was a 14th... pretty lucky really... but you lock into TYPES that you like.

                            • And look at the Rays now. All you have to do is change your name from the Devil Colonials and you'll be set.
