Good pick in Davidson. He was next on my board, and honestly, I wanted to take him last round.

    • Nice move Stu. I think you could have gotten Sandwich Round a bit later in the draft though rather than in the 3rd round.

My scouts have him rated as a 6-5-7 on the meatquality-moistness-flavor rating scale. Great pickup

        • Maybe it is just me...and my scouts...but there is still a lot of talent left. Especially in the hitting department.

          • My scouts like a lot of bats too, but judging by my first few picks, that doesn't mean there's any talent left out there.

            • There's still another 10-12 guys I'd be thrilled getting with my next pick. I just drafted SP Eros Cook two of my scouts had him at 4-4-4 and two at 5-6-6. If he even pans out somewhere in between I'll be pretty happy.

              • My last two picks are shots in the dark:

Ottavio Ciocchi at 106 overall- one of my scouts loved him (6-6-6) while the rest were 4-5-5 or 4-5-4. Even if he ends up at 4-5-5, he has the potential to be a starter in this league. If that one scout was right, he'll be even better.

Charles Allmones at 116 overall- he's listed as a reliever, but half of my scouts had him at a five endurance. Now, the better pitching scouts had him at a 4 but it was a gamble I wanted to take. My top scout had him at 4-6-6. The rest weren't so high on him, but I wanted to gamble. The pitching in my system is barren.

                • Does anybody know if the "auto pick from list" function working correctly now?

                  • Worked for me.

Definitely working- all of my picks have been from my list and have worked perfectly

                      • I'm stoked to have gotten Pat McCoy with my last pick- I have four 70 rated pitching scouts, and they widely diverged on him.

Two of them had him at 4-5-7, and the other two had him at 3-3-6. Consensus wise, they have him as a guy with average stuff and movement but great control. I'm interested to see how he develops.

                        • I'm extremely happy with my pick of Victoro Diaz in the 4th round.

All my scouts had him at 5-5-4...

What's even better is he's already at 4-4-3... so he'll definitely be skipping A ball and moving straight to AA... hopefully with a talent bump, he'll be able to contribute in the future... but by skipping A ball... he's well ahead of the curve.

                          • My scouts had him pretty much at 3-5-5 with only my main scout putting him at 4-4-4. I was hoping to grab him with my next pick.

Yeah I think we have the same ratings... I just put control first, movement second, and stuff third... so it looks like 5-5-3... instead of 3-5-5.
