That being said, the Clowns are pleased to take 3B Xalbador Ansoátegui. My top hitting scouts were thrilled with him, projecting him as a 5-6-7-6-4 and 6-6-7-6-4 guy with below average third base skills. But if he can hit, we'll find a spot for him.
I have two scouts that are my 'hitting' scouts. One of them LOVES Ansoátegui, We're talking 6-6-7. And he's an 80 for hitting potential. Then again the other 80 scout I have HATES him. So ya know, you might strike gold here. Some times you gotta swing for the fences. That's what I did with Taylor.

I'm the same way with him. My one scout has him at a 6-6-7. The scouts a 75 in hitting potential. My other scouts hate him

My scouts averaged him at 4/5/5/5/3. Solid pick.

          • Yeah, lets hope he works out. He's somewhat developed as well, so he should end the season at least in AA.

                  • Took another minor dice roll on Wyatt. My two best hitting scouts one has him at 5-5-5 the other 6-6-5. All the rest of my scouts have him at any combos of 5's and 6's.

He'll help us down the road if Tilbrook develops an injury problem.

                    • Took Artie Rhodes... speed guy who one of my most trusted scouts really liked. Sad to say, but I'm already reaching in the late 2nd because I think this draft is that shallow.

Loved the name Artie Rhodes too.... sounds like that old guy who lives in the house on the corner and sweeps his driveway four times a week.

I would certainly think not unless he wants that. He deserves some extra time to figure out what is going on before making his pick.
