        • I hope so. He should have the nickname "Pudge".

          • Ok, we wanted to go P with our last pick in the 1st, but our scouts liked Carr too much to pass on him.

            • Carr is one guy I can't figure out. He wasn't on my real radar until Liquid's mock draft. My scouts love his gap power, but I have a phobia of Gap power after Tony Yarine. How do guys have a Gap of 7 and a Power of 4, it doesn't make sense.

I thought he'd go a bit earlier though.

              • Took a chance on Anibal Soto...my head scout had him at 5-5-6 potential, so we'll see how it goes.

                • To finish out the first round, the Washington Bats select 19-year-old MR Chad Williams, out of Phoenix, Arizona. This is the second year in a row that the Bats spent their first round pick on a pitcher born on April 20th. (Last years being MR turned SP, Jerry Stuart)

Every single one of my scouts had Williams at 5-6-6 potential, except for one who gave him a 6-8-7. He turns 20 soon, and currently has a decent development of 3-3-3. Getting a MR isn't really what you dream of going into the first round, but my scout had Williams as the #2 relief pitcher, and 5th best overall player.

I pick again at 2.6 and 2.10. Hopefully I will get two more guys my scouts are high on.

All my scouts have him as 4-4-4. I wish you luck that my scouts are more correct than yours.

My scouts liked him...I figured he would've been picked already.

                            • Pick is in. Montes is a little bit of a project at only 17, but Maine needs some OF's in the minors.

I might be looking to trade up in the 2nd round if anybody is interested. I can offer my 2nd and 3rd this year or my 2nd this year and 2nd next year, depending how high your pick is.
