SIM COMPLETE - 1984 - Preseason

IThe guy wanted a 5 year deal, but I thought I'd throw out a one year deal with a team option, and i'm kinda shocked he took it. Hopefully he can give me the pop I missed last year.

If I can make a move or two more, I really like my team this year.

I made an offer for him but can't remember what it was but I know it was 4-5 years for close to what he was asking.

Wow, thats weird. Like I said, I was shocked he took the deal I offered.

Well, I'll be in the library (put in 36 hours over the last three days, my life stinks right now) but I made my draft list and put in >6 players on it so I'm set. It should be fun to see who I end up with.

Holy crap... I just noticed that I have a stretch in the season where I play 23 games in a row without a day off. I'll need an extra Catcher.

I lucked out with the schedule. I play 47 home games in the first half of the season... compared to 34 in the second half. We should be able to maximize gates early on before the team goes in a nose dive.

You guys should keep playing your stars so this way I know that my team's performance is based off of guys playing this year and not minor league roster fillers.
