And with yet another improvement for Luis Antonio Ramirez who is just skipping AAA all together, MacOwl goes on the trade block. I can't hold this guy back any more.

Didn't we have a rule or at least a gentlemen's agreement about not passing guys through waivers during 30 day sims???
Diesel?
I thought the rule was that everyone without remaining options will be placed on waivers in the sim before the season starts so anyone who wants Lucero on their BLB roster will have a chance to claim him. It was a good move by Diesel claiming him and then getting him into his own minor league system the way he did. I'll have to remember that one.

I don't think that is necessary since I believe your understanding of the rule is correct. The whole point of instituting the rule that everyone without options and in the minors goes on waivers before the season starts was so that guys couldn't be slipped through during the 30-day sims.
I'm assuming their demands SHOULD go down during the season if for no other reason that prorating for the length. We'll see though.
In solo leagues most guys that hold out into the season will accept one year deals, but it will be interesting to see how low these guys go. If low enough, I could see a bidding war for a couple of them. Nothing close to what they were asking for, but it should be interesting.
The guy wanted a 5 year deal, but I thought I'd throw out a one year deal with a team option, and i'm kinda shocked he took it. Hopefully he can give me the pop I missed last year.
If I can make a move or two more, I really like my team this year.
