Why don't you write it, Clemens?

You don't have a job... you don't have a wife.... you have to wait a few hours between "treatments"...

I'm not sure what time the gay bars open in Seattle... but I think you can squeeze it in (that's what HE said)....

Good. Can I bitch about it every day between now and when it appears?

Eh, it really doesn't matter. Seeing as how it isn't going to happen, why not say who you "were" going to write about?

Maybe we can plan something to work on for next season..."24 in 85" doesn't have as good of a ring to it, but doing a season preview at the 1/3 mark is dumb. We all really enjoyed "22 in 82" and I wouldn't want to tarnish it with a crap preview at this point in the year.

Here's the only one I wrote in full:

Sin City Gamblers - Jerry Foshee (SS?) - All is quiet in Las Vegas these days, save of course the neverending chime of the slot machines and the gaggle of Elvis Impersonators. But at the offices of the Sin City Gamblers, executives are playing their cards tight to the vest this season. Going into the off season, the question on everone's glitzy marquee was "Who will play Shortstop for SC?" With the devastating loss of Domingo Bandillo last season to one of the most gruesom elbow injuries this league has ever seen, the back-to-back Domestic League representatives to the Brewmaster's Cup have searched high and low for a suitable replacement in the infield. With the signing of Jerry Foshee, one of the most versitile athletes in the BLB, one can only assume he'll start Spring Training with the SS position. What he does with it, may be the difference between another DL crown and a bust.

Here were my choices for the rest of the Lager:

Hyundai Dinos - Brad Taylor (SP)
Los Lunas Javelinas - Robby Ruggles (GM) - Sometimes the most important people in a winning organization never take the field. (Started writing this one... kind of spot on here)
Mississippi Storm - Roku Nakano (1B)

Wow...I think you jinxed all those guys by writing about em...

Nakano goes down with an injury. Robby quits. Taylor has an ERA 1.11 over what he had last year.

Remember... a watch list doesn't mean they are my choices to be good... it means they will be noteworthy in the success or lack there of for their team

                          Washington Bats - R.A. Grounds (2B) - Hot start...mediocre since

He was who I had in my notes... I might have changed him... I know I was teetering between him and few guys... but he was who was in there the last time I wrote.

And, no, I'm not high on the guy... quite the opposite... but you are... so I know he's going to get more opportunities than other guys thus making him one to watch.

I'm guilty of the same thing. Yan Van Den Adel Stan Can should not have a job right now... but I used a Expansion Protection spot on the guy because you "fall in love" with certain players... like you have with Grounds. You always go back to that AS game like people always use that Vick win at Lambeau and ignore the rest of the resume.

Damn, I feel like an idiot. All this time I thought "24 in 84" was referring to the extra guys Diesel was carrying in his minors.
