I'd gladly have taken him back if he had shown any resemblance of that player from '82. He was a nobody before '82, and he went back to being a nobody after '82.

Since I've been Staffordized, he's cleared waivers so he's no longer on my 40-man roster, right? But he refuses to play in the minors, so where is he? I see him on my overall roster but not on any team.

He's in your waivers list. But you have to put him somewhere before Sunday, either cut him or put him back on the 25 and 40 man. Can't leave him in the DFA... and you can't really cut him with that type of contract.
