Abran Lanbin signed with us for only 4.2 a year. Considering he was coming off a season where he hit .284/26/90 and I couldn't be happier with how cheap we got him for. Sure he's old, but with how much I brought my fences in this year, 26 HR's shouldn't be out of the question once again this year.

So if I'm understanding this correctly... any player that didn't play an inning or get an at bat in 83, and wasn't currently on a team... retired? I just noticed a couple of young guys retired after posting great years in 82, but for whatever reason didn't play in 83.

Had money to burn this year so I front loaded just like McEvoy's deal. Othewise it goes to waste. The rest of his deal is light, plus I can void the last year. But I actually need an OF for a year or two so he fits the bill til Nichol develops a little more in AAA.

Next sim: Thursday

No draft class in tonight's file. The game kept crashing when I tried to save after creating the draft class. I think this happened a couple seasons ago, I just need to look up the solution.

The next sim will be another 7 day sim. Reason being is I want to give people a chance to send out their scouts before the first 30 day sim.

Is there a quick way to check DFA's without looking at every player? I haven't designated anyone but I also don't know if anyone was before I got here.

Go to your team under the transactions tab and pull up Designated For Assignment. If you didn't place anyone on it, the only guys who could be there are guys you signed but didn't assign yet.
