Diesel is the poster boy for well thought out decisions. How can you argue with a guy who made his decion to try HGH based on the research that included posting "So... what do you guys think of HGH?" on a sim gaming website.

The fact that he's a person that may raise children someday is frightening. Granted, they will be adopted children and we'll hold out hope that his life partner has better life skills than Diesel... but... let's be honest... if he chose Diesel that puts him in question from the get go.

When diesel finally wakes from his slumber, we know he's going to read this thread and cry. The question that remains is: will he cry more or less than that time you made him cry in front of everyone at OS?

That was a great time. He was like the kindergartener who wet his pants in front of the whole class.

If peeing your pants is cool, consider Diesel Miles Davis.

Diesel gets credit for his tantrum and tears at OS because at least it was a complete meltdown and consistant.

The other people who've supposedly been pissed about things I said at OS pissed me off because it was selective. Acid being the best example for that. Acid's cool and all... but he and I joke around for months and months, hell might have been years at that point about his Sister. Tongue and cheek shit (that's what she said)... then... when him and his posse at OS catch shit for posting pics of Psyblast and personally attacking him... he got all bent and used my jokes about his Sister as his argument. Weenie.

But what a great meltdown it was!

It was on par with this Bill O'Reilly meltdown someone just sent me.

The Psyblast crackdown was epic though. I've never seen anyone get torn up that quickly by a group of guys.

How many were celled that night? At least 6 right?

I like to think of Diesel's meltdown as the guy you always see on like World's Funniest Police chases or whatever... the dude who gets pulled over as is arguing with the cop in the really high voice. He ends up like throwing the ticket out and then has to get out and get it. Classic. I'm sure it's on YouTube.... THAT is Diesel.

I expect his meltdowns to become even more epic with his HGH use. I can't wait.

Spectre... what is up with your team from last year... If I sign another guy I'm looking at, I'll have added three Storm players from last year... all three were good in 82 but sucked in 83. Any ideas what happened?

Honestly, I think the overall suckiness of my team last year really hurt a lot of people's stats. In 1982, my team was healthy, which made all the difference in the world. The offense, top to bottom, was atrocious (which has led to my wheeling and dealing). That's why guys like Gailan had very good years. I think this game simulates the decline in player's performances when they're not on good teams. Gailan was one of the few power threats on my team in 82 and he dropped off without a big change in ratings.

Gailan would have been a nice piece to keep, but he wasn't happy here.

Random note, I can't wait to see how much $$$ Hiraki and LaRochelle are going to get. They're the aces of a very weak FA class and with a lot of money to spend, these guys are going to get pizaid

I know. I told myself not to bother with LaRochelle because I would get caught up in the bidding war. Sure enough, I just gave him a 3rd offer. The money I offered really goes against my team building philosophy, but I keep telling myself I have the budget money.

Good chatter today, Boys. I'm proud of you. Well, most of you.

Yeah... I'm feeling confident that really, really decent to good players will not be on a roster at the start of this season. It feels like my ownership style is catching up to my lifestyle. I now treat FA's like I treat video games. Sure, I'll splurge on one I really like... but I'm not going out to look for it early, overpay or stress about it... I'll just keep playing the games I like.

I think Hiraki (the best player in FA IMO) ends up as a Clown for more than enough money to score Andrew the 1st Round sammy.
