I'm done with FA. I got Jackson this sim, and I'm hoping I get the Jackson that pitched fairly well in the 2nd half of the season last year. Aside from that, I'm not putting any money into the crap that's left out there, and the big names I won't even look at.

I already tried the 1.4 for Dani Alvarez route. It didn't work. I'm keeping the pick.

Judging by his posting history, or lack thereof, he's similar to Z.

Linty's demands for his first rounder made me realize it's not even remotely close to what I'm willing to pay to get inside the Top 5.

Well... God help us all then...

Actually, he's pretty active in the OSFL... so I think he may come around once we're in-season.

I would think one of the three expansion teams picking in the Top 4 would jump at multiple first rounders.

Also tried that one as well. I wanted three of his 1st round picks. I play hardball.

Now that actually made me literally LOL. First time I've said LOL and it's been real. I'm pretty cool.

In Syracuse, "save the OSFL drama for your baby mama!" shirts are being printed as the Slammers get their first halfway significant free agent in CF Roger Morgan, who oddly enough can't play centerfield. Guess the jokes on me. Anyways, we'll probably move Curt Halpern to center and give Morgan the chance to start in left. Can't wait to see him on the basepaths, he's a 2 in stealing, baserunning speed, and baserunning instincts. Should be a keeper.

We're like +60 something as a franchise though. Year in year out... sure... even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile... but it's my teams consistent level of "slightly less pathetic than yours" that sets us apart.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I don't know what I am doing in OOTP and the BLB yet. So since I don't want to sound like a idiot too much, I have just been sitting back and watching/listening/ to you guys bitch, moan, and berate each other to get a feel for how it works here in this league...
