Now, if you can make a joke out of all three of those, then you're on to something, Clay...

Ironically, Diesel spends most of his Friday nights in the corner with a 37 year old Domican Playboy on his stiffy...

Thank God that get good managing then... plus Diesel.

Is there a limit on the number of minor league players i can/should pick up?

Andrew can never advance a sim if your rosters are above the stated limits at each level. All of the minors currently sit at 30... but we use 30 as a mock DL in the minors since there isn't one. Try to keep your Minors around 25-28. You CAN have 30, but you can never go over.

Obvously while you're building your farm system, you'll have your core guys... then you'll have roster filler. Just try to have some padding because if Andrew has to intervene... it gets ugly.

Your minor league systems are still pretty bare. I'm sure you have multiple offers out there (which I can obviously not see)... but just remember that you need a full team when the season starts. Don't have to fill all 30 spots on each level, but you do need to be able to field a team on every level.

Not telling you what or how to do it. Just don't want you to be caught by surprise in Spring Training.
Is there a secret to get guys to accept minor league deals? Out of the 20 guys I offered all but 5 say they wont accept a minor league offer. But when you look at their stats, ratings, and/or age, who would want to offer them anything more than a minor league contract. Will they eventually realize that they are asking to much and sign a minor league deal?

Nope. If they want a Major League Deal, chances are they are going to hold out for one.

One way to get minor league guys is by looking at what the player is asking for. If he will accept a minor league contract, the game will tell you that. And no, you can't get guys that don't want one to accept one... they'll just sit on the market and rot until they get a major league deal or retire.

Man, I really didnt need the bullpen help, but Sisk was someone I really wanted. He didnt want to close, yet, so he was gonna be a big part of the bullpen, since I'm weak in the rotation. Speaking of that....

Overall its been a very positive winter for the Kodiaks!
...I really wanted Lorral in my rotation. This one hurts, a lot. How the hell did I lose him to an expansion team? Indy is in a state of shock right now.... that is all.

If I'm remembering right, when I try to add more than 25 to the active roster it says it's full. Isn't there some way to set it so it won't allow people to add more than 30 to a minor league roster? I usually pay attention to make sure I don't go over 30 but not 100% sure that I've never been one of those people with 31 at one time or another.
