Day to Day

Does anyone know how the AI handles players who are day to day? Does it know not to play them or do I have to remove them from the depth charts?

I don't know what the AI does, for sure. but, I know what i do.
I leave them in the depth chart, and I haven't had any problems with how the AI has handled it. But, this hasn't happened to me to often, so I can't guarantee that the AI gets it right everytime. A lot of times, though, my injured player has been better at 80% then his backup, so it hasn't really bothered me.

I am pretty sure that the uses players who are day to day without modifying the depth chart for that status.
