I'm trying to figure out how much cash I can afford to move to my stadium fund but I can't understand why my cash is what it is. According to the chart above I should have started the year with about $19.4 million which looks right since I ended last year with $15.9 and got about $3.1 from the luxury tax and $400K for my all stars but my beginning cash is now less than $15 million.

Go by the numbers listed here. I probably entered the wrong thing in game. I'll fix it next sim.

Is there some sort of graph that explains this, or perhaps a power point presentation? A really colorful explanation in crayon? Pictures? Maybe a short bus that could take me to a class that can help me understand?

Cash and Budget room are technically not the same thing. Cash can be used to transfer into the stadium fund or include in trades (basically). It's essentially unused revenue from the year before.

LOL, I set myself up for that, so its all good.

However, if I dont want to use all $57 million on FA's, can I put more than $20 million into my stadium fund?

For instance, using that nifty site you linked above, assuming I entered all these confound numbers correctly, I've learned that I could put, say $30 million into my stadium fund and I'd have $27 million available for FA's, no?

I have a question... why does an expansion team need a bunch of money in the stadium fund? It's not a bank account, so once it's in... it's in. You just built your stadium 2 years ago, so I can't imagine you need to mod it much. Wouldn't it make more sense to keep the cash available for trades and/or signings?

You can only add money from your CASH. So $20 mil is the max you could transfer.

Yes. You use it to add capacity. Just wasn't sure you were to that point yet where you were selling out a lot.

Remember, putting in seats that aren't needed not only costs money... but it will effect your percentages that drive your ticket price cap.

I dont really have any plans set in stone yet, I'm just sorting through some options and seeing whats available.

Most importantly, I dont want to do something stupid without asking questions about it first and put myself in a shitty situation. Guess i'm still trying to get my head around this online league thing.
