Do we still have an intact HOF committee. I think somewhere down the road we should consider renaming the IL Stout Slugger the Pete Kellum Award. That man dominated the first two years in the IL.

The Hall of Fame committee is:
      -Skerik
      -rubisco
      -dieselboy

Looks like we need a replacement.

I think it should be an original owners... just so their knowledge goes back to '78. That'll be important for those early entries.

All you had to do was ask. Of course I accept!

....kidding of course. I would be happy to be on the committee if needed though.

I can take a swing at Hall of Fame plaques once we settle on it. I assume we're going to do a HOF page.

I'm not voting for him. Just collecting a paycheck from us.

When does free agency start? There are a couple of good players that could help me out. Plus I've got money to blow since Kellum is gone. Now if Stafford would either put up or get the hell out I'd be happy.

                      Release them.

You won't be charged their option year. Just declining the option isn't enough as the game seems to have a problem handling this correctly.

                        Is this confirmed?

That stinks- looks like I'm going to have to re-export

I know I had a problem with this before, but I hadn't heard it was a universal issue. I'll be sure to release my option player anyway.

It's the same thing, whether you release or decline the option. The player is entering the free agent market.

I had to do some last minute scrambling last season when Joe Stapley's option didn't decline and I still had him on my roster. Luckily, for some reason, the game allowed me to release him without taking a financial hit. Maybe because it was during free agency and Stapley could make the money back? I don't know and I don't care. I escaped that mistake.

So now I always make sure to release the player when it's a Team Option.
