If the order goes correctly and noone is skipped over, here are the projected pitching matchups for the Pittsburgh-Maine series:

    Game 1: Brudenell (12-14, 4.71) vs. Santos (13-9, 3.43)
    Game 2: Waits (16-4, 3.36) vs. Abe (14-7, 2.30)
    Game 3: Boladeres (12-7, 4.37) vs. Drewery (13-10, 3.82)

Interesting. Tied in the standings but still pretty big underdogs to make the playoffs. I tend to agree that Davenport's a better team than we are this season but it should be interesting to see how it plays out.

If your PYT record is worse that would explain it. The calculations are not based on actual standings.

I have a three game series against Carolina to finish the season, and I am resting a LOT of guys.

Come on Diesel, don't do that. It makes sense to set your rotation so that your one and two guys start the first two games of the playoffs but anything beyond that would be a serious error in this spot. With my top starter on the shelf Carolina has a much better shot at an upset than I do. I swear, besides Dealba and Robbins my guys will just be happy to be there while Carolina and his playoff veterans will be hungry for more.

I've lost 7 of my last 8 to teams with a winning record and I'm bound to roll over in 4 or maybe 5 games. Meanwhile Carolina is hot and even if they only manage to extend it to, say, 6 games that will reduce your prospects at least slightly at the big dance.

            Blah, blah Davenport.

            Blah, blah Carolina.

Hey! Los Alamos isn't rolling over here! You all better be careful or you may find yourselves having to play an extra game or two!

You are probably not going to catch Carolina if Diesel packs it in the last series so you ought to be thinking of helping me with this argument.

Diesel fears Davenport. I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to face that offense.

But I play Washington this sim as well!

I'm 11-4 against Carolina. 10-8 against Davenport. 6-9 against Los Alamos (the only team I have a losing record against.)

I like my odds against Carolina a lot more than I do against Davenport or Los Alamos. Carolina is a good pitching squad with average hitting. Davenport is the best htting team in the IL and an average pitching squad. I can safely say that I am better on both than Carolina, but only better at pitching than Davenport.

Sorry man. If I played Carolina my first three games of this sim, and not the last, he would be facing my legit SP. But I'm playing him the last three. So, he gets to face my #5. and two September call-ups.

I wish you luck sir. It isn't going to be easy.

I don't know where to put this question, so:

Can I move my big "Blue Monster" back? My right field is only 270 feet from home plate and I understand that the wall is 60 feet in right field but MAN!!! We gave 160 home runs this year and I can't help but wonder if thats part of the gotdang problem.

We also had 1200+ strikeouts. Probably because everyone was trying to swing for the damn fences every at bat.

You have to pay to remodel your stadium. It took me 4 off-seasons and over $50,000,000 to get mine to a playable condition.

So Clay when I look at my finances, where do I look for the money to come out of? Can I make off-season moves first...then upgrade my stadium? I don't want to spend all of my money on upgrading my stadium and have a really bad team on my hands.
