We made up 2 games on Davenport this week, going 5-1 for the sim. Still down 4 games, we're going to need to sweep them this sim.

What are ROY eligibility requirements for hitters? 40 days on the ML roster or 125 ABs?

I think it's time to send Alvarez back down to the minors.

Ouch, Dallas lost Samarano for pretty much all of 1984.

Still 6 back with 2 sims left. A 5-1 sim was good though. Arce had a pair of home runs as well. And we still have a 0.6% shot at the playoffs!

Oh and I got swept in the AAA championship. Congrats Portsmouth!

Took 2 of 3 from Sin City and 1 so far from Maine with another game left. Not so bad for spoiler mode.

In some other....news.... SP Jack Curry made his appearance, and it was as bad as I feared. 4.1, 4 H, 7 ER, 4 BB, 3 K, 2 HR. In other words, ugly. One more chance against Maine and that might be it for his BLB try for now.

I wouldn't mind seeing Baltimore and Dallas pass us, but we're not going to pack it in. Alvarez's stint is over. He showed tremendous promise, and put up OK numbers. He'll likely be the man next year at 1B. My head scout finished his tour of the BLB, and he even rates Alvarez as the top prospect. Good stuff.

Waiting on my head scouts take of the BLB is essentially going to be the highlight of the rest of the season for me :)

I was shooting for .500 and I hate to lose my shot at that but I'm pulling most of my top players...I can't chance another long injury or CEI...as it is I already have a SP, RP and now Samarano out for an extended period of time.

Matt Rogers keeps showing up on my list too. You'd never know it based on his stats.

                            Not much to say...

Pete LaClair once again shows that while he can get it done in AAA... he just isn't cutting it in the BLB.

Good thing I traded Alvarez...wouldn't want to hog 3 of the top 10 prospects.
