Took 2 of 3 from Sin City and 1 so far from Maine with another game left. Not so bad for spoiler mode.
In some other....news.... SP Jack Curry made his appearance, and it was as bad as I feared. 4.1, 4 H, 7 ER, 4 BB, 3 K, 2 HR. In other words, ugly. One more chance against Maine and that might be it for his BLB try for now.

I wouldn't mind seeing Baltimore and Dallas pass us, but we're not going to pack it in. Alvarez's stint is over. He showed tremendous promise, and put up OK numbers. He'll likely be the man next year at 1B. My head scout finished his tour of the BLB, and he even rates Alvarez as the top prospect. Good stuff.
