  • Who has the most titles?

I was reviewing Issam Ghaniy's history yesterday and started wondering if anyone else in the BLB had 3 titles. I'm 99.99% positive that Ghaniy is the only one to win one with 3 teams -- Los Lunas (78), Carolina (81) and Wilmington (82) -- but did any of the Maine guys who won 2 also win another one? I suppose I could dig around and find out, but I'm being lazy.

I've never had any Guides on my team, so that rules out Wilmington.

I think the only other player to have played in 3 is Dante Geake. He won titles with Maine in 79 and 80 and lost with Sin City in 82.

EDIT - besides all the guys who have been on Maine or Windy City for all 3.

You should tell Markus that this should be (a) displayed somewhere in the League History and (b) playoff experience should somehow factor into a players ratings.

Hell I'd rather they have a stat for run support for pitchers. Can't believe that's not in there.

Yeah, that would be a good one. It should also effect their morale.

Since we're complaining, it would be nice if the upcoming milestones page made a comeback. It was always nice to have that page to see who was approaching certain numbers without having to scroll and cycle through everybodies stats. Maybe next year.

                  It's already in OOTP8.

Yeah... it's in OOTP8.... but it's almost useless because you don't get any notice when people actually pass one.

Hmm, guess I need to upgrade. Actually, since you both said something, I do remember seeing something about it on the OOTP boards before it was released.

There is a stat in the game called "Run Support per Start." It's abbreviated RSG, under the pitching stats tab in the customize view screen.

There's also just RS, which is total run support.

Pretty happy that you pointed this one out. I always wondered what Teagan Corrigan's run support was. Last year he got 3.38 R/G when we as a team were scoring 4.8 R/G. No wonder he only got 15 wins.

                          Top 5 for this year:
                          1) Tommy Lang - Denver - 5.44
                          2) Clint Vanstone - Los Lunas - 5.07
                          3) Clint Waits - Maine - 5.07
                          4) Jonathan Doheny - Sin City - 4.90
                          5) David Rumsey - Hyundai - 4.90

                            What's Aurrilo's?
