Either way, I think he is good.
We're not worried about a singles hitter winning the award.

Wow I really lit a fire here. Could this be the most hotly contested ROTY race ever?

The DL must really suck, nobody's chiming in from there. Maybe we could put an IL rookie team in the All-Star game to take on the DL All-Stars?

I'd be worried about a guy who is going to hit .300, score 100 runs, and steal 50 bags.

Sure did hit .300, scored 100 runs and had 48 stolen bases though.

Still not up to Nago's .300, 100, and 50 stolen bases.

Won't matter... O'Hegarty pushed those numbers and didn't even get a sniff... despite my lobbying.

Should be a good race regardless.

I still stand by my kid from Dallas pick over in the DL.

                        Meh.

In 1978 Lonzo Serma which was picked by the CPU as the ROTY, got third in human voting.

                        He hit 28 HR's, 88 RBI, 96 runs, and 67 stolen bases.

If only someone with commish like powers could create some kind of weekly update to track this highly anticipated race. I think that's a great idea!

Those 1978 rookies are an anomaly though, since a lot of great players were rookies in the league's first year.

Yeah but these aren't anything legendary....

Looking at some other years, people like power I think more than just average and scoring runs.

It also looks like the awards page needs some updating. Get on that Clay!
