In 1984 people will forget that there was a change in ownership in Baltimore. It'll be the same old Skerik... er... um..elprez98.

Hey!! "Slam Virginia" cards are not free... they have to be earned. Granted... not difficult to earn... but a requirement nonetheless.

Ohhhh... thanks for playing... but we've already scheduled the presser for next year to give Nate Magness and Joshua Poling the first ever split IL New Brew Award for kicking so much ass.

Should be a good race. Especially since we may not be in any others.

              Here's my dark horse candidates...

              Herman Fisher

True Herman fisher posted a 1.83 ERA last September after his callup. But I think it's his sexy mustache that sways the voters.

I have a few other possbilities, but I think this guy if he blooms will have a good chance...

              Cliff Burgett

He's a catcher that we're forcing at 3rd base because we're over stacked at C. If his potential ratings finally fire I think he could go on a tear by mid-season. He's been stuck for awhile, but I think that's cuz he's "bored". He's our top hitting prospect.

I think your old guy Fletcher still qualifies this year. He finished Septebmer pretty good. Should be fun.

I think the whole league is going to be youth filled... but the IL seems to have a lot on the horizon.

I know I'll start two rookie position players - Poling (3B) and Hernando (C) - and at least two arms with first year eligibility.

Add in the expansion teams and some of the other rebuilders and it's going to be like a Boy Scout meeting in the Import. Not to mention that the three best pitchers in the IL are still babies - Aurillo, Tardiff and Franklin.

Someone on Cali will hit 25+ HR's this year and still hit close to .200 for the season.

Is Michio Nago eligible for rookie of the year? He only played in 19 September games, but he was on the post-season roster...

Because if he is eligible, no one from Virginia, or Windy City, has a shot.

I'd be willing to risk another year with CEI's and the damage it could do to my team just to have a shot at seeing Nago go down with a torn back muscle.

I was only concerned with time on the active roster...

Either way, I think he is good.
