Also at first look, this game is lb for lb, a much better sim than FoF. Jim needs to get a studio, but hell with the NFL on lock, I wonder if anyone will take a chance.

Is Z the same owner that let Kent Hutton hit FA in the OSFL, only to sign him for twice the money he could've had him for if he chose not to let him walk? :)

                  Just curious...

No, that was the guy whose team has won exactly zero of its last fifteen games.

                    Wait ... crap.

By the way, does anyone understand how California got so bad in such a short time? Did he get shafted in the initial draft or was it more a series of bad trades? Perhaps there was an owner like Clay lurking around back then who took advantage of him at every turn. If so, who was it? Or did he just spread the wealth around? It is hard to understand how he could end up with such a bad team and bad minor league system in such a short time. I remember back in the days when I was trying to keep up with Windy City and Carolina scrutinizing the CA roster for someone that might help me and I couldn't find a single player I actually wanted.

I guess I'm just comparing it to my own experience running the OSFL where if an owner quit, especially an original owner who had been around for several seasons since the inception of the league, I PM'd them an ok and asked for their password if I needed it. Instead I got a "he resigned" post on the board, no PM response, and you asked another owner to ask me for my password. All for having the courtesy to tell you I was leaving instead of just ceasing to participate as other owners have done. Ok....

I did something similar in OSFL. I didn't get the whole off season thing or when guys would go UFA, and I let Jumbo Clements walk. Then I lost out in the bidding war for him. I was like CRAP! But that's how you learn new games, you make dumb decisions.

Judging by the history of the Philadelphia Freedom, and the Ohio Valley Showboats, Z's made a lot of them.

I'd like to think most of us pretty much have free agency figured out after 3+ seasons....
