I export probably a dozen times per sim on average.

Not only that but I export 4-5 times without making changes just to make sure I exported.

I've been a little busy lately and hadn't got around to exporting for the last few days. I got one in for this sim, so I'm still here.

Like others, this game takes forever to load on my computer, loading slower now with 8 than it did with 2007 for whatever reason. So I usually have to devote 30 minutes to downloading the new files and loading the game, which can get a bit frustrating. I've tried to speed up this computer, but no luck so far.

Damn, 8 loads about 10x faster for me. I love it. 2007 chugged.

This game is hell on my computer. It takes at least half an hour to load the game, another half hour+ to download a league file, about a third of the time it freezes up after doing that, and it never exits properly so I end up having to power off and then reboot. I cant do anything else while its downloading because the stupid game makes everything else freeze or have huge slowdowns.

One thing that helps me is to defrag as often as possible. Not sure it will help as much on your PC's though since the online file doesnt contain nearly as many files.

I have a brand new laptop I just bought before fall semester. Everything else runs fine, and I have football manager up and running 24/7 pretty much. Not sure why ootp runs like shit.

I've got a 4 year old Dell that I bought before heading up to college. It's never been the greatest thing in the world, but OOTP just kills it lately. And I can't even think about running anything else when OOTP is on, that's freeze my computer for sure.
