The Rule 5 draft will be held in the league chatroom Thursday night at 9:00. You can see the draft order and available players in game by going to BLB -> Rule 5 Draft
If you have players that are eligible to be drafted, denoted by the # sign in the game, you can protect them by placing them on your 40 man roster. Please post in this thread who you are protecting however so people will know they aren't eligible anymore.
Rule 5 Draft Rules
--Only teams with empty slots on their 40 man rosters can select a player in the draft.
--Players with more than 3, but fewer than 6 years of professional service are eligible to be selected, unless they are protected on a team's expanded roster.
--Players drafted at the age of 18 or younger are protected for one additional year. They are eligible if they have more than 4, but fewer than 7 years of professional service.
--Each selected player must be kept on the selecting team's major league roster for the entire year, or be returned to his original team.
--Even if a selected player is subsequently traded, he must remain on that team's major league roster for the entire year.
