One thing I noticed in Aurillo's last game with me though is that the game does not always charge earned runs to the correct pitcher. Shouldn't the first run I scored in the 7th have been charged to Aurillo instead of Irvin? Or is it me that misunderstands who should have been charged with that run?

Yeah, Robbins was Aurillo's only responsibility. Since he was thrown out at 2nd Aurillo is off the hook for the run. I believe if the FC went to 1st and then Robbins scored it would have been charged to Aurillo.

Sec. 10.16 of the MLB rulebook

When pitchers are changed during an inning, the official scorer shall not charge the relief pitcher with any run (earned or unearned) scored by a runner who was on base at the time such relief pitcher entered the game, nor for runs scored by any runner who reaches base on a fielder’s choice that puts out a runner left on base by any preceding pitcher.

No, the run should have been charged to Aurillo.
