For the record, minus the dramatics to say that I only vote for rules that benefit me is factually incorrect. I believe I was one of I think two people that voted AGAINST draft pick compensation. I think I've benefited from that rule as much if not more than anyone.

The only push I made was earlier in the year for the cash in trades thing to be revisited, which I was actually invited to do BTW if you remember. I made my pitch, nobody wanted to move on it, and I moved on if you remember and traded two of the best players on my team. I didn't scream up and down.

I've been here from day 1, and I have not always voted in the best interests of my team, but what I thought was right. I've said on several occasions what a good job Andrew does both publicly and IM. But to fault owners who are trying to make their teams better is just wrong. If that's the case you're better off playing SP against the CPU where it will live by your wishes.

And just for the record. My, "That Sucks" comment about the 30 player limit in Minor leagues was just a comment as in, woah, that sucks, because I for some reason was under the impression that injured guys didn't count.
The problem I have is with people who give a short response to something and don't bring anything to the table. Maybe I misinterpreted the "that sucks" comment but it seems like people are often willing to voice their displeasure about a rule but not willing to tell us WHY they don't like it. All I ask is that people bring something to the table.

Also, the comment about me being better off playing SP is out of line. If I wanted everything in this league to run according to my wishes I wouldn't facilitate discussion on rules changes and give people a chance to offer their opinion.

I have brought ideas to the table. And I always give my reasons why I don't like a rule.

I think we should all let cooler heads prevail... and if you need someone to bitch at, come bitch at how unfair it is that my Purdue Boilermakers are so damn good.
