SIM COMPLETE - 1983 - Regular Season 7

Huge series coming up against Davenport (unfortunately no Tardif in this series) and then a road trip to Baltimore.

5-1 including 2 of 3 from Washington and my best sim of the season. I neglected to export after making my final changes after the Delgado trade and had the file set up to use the 7 day lineups whereas I'd planned to use the regular ones. The two guys I'd meant to bench went 16 for 39 with 9 runs and 11 RBIs. Maybe I ought to have my wife make a couple of random changes from now on before I export or something like that.

Yeah, but he lasted only 1 inning against Virginia giving up 3 hits and 1 ER. Maybe he'll be even better now without the pressure of a 0.00 ERA.

When he's accepting his "Pale Ale Pitcher Awards" in the future... always remember that the Colonials were the one who busted his cherry.

It was weird that he got pulled after 1 inning. I mean, we put up 3, but 2 of them were unearned due to errors.

Yeah, I think that Tardif getting pulled after 1 inning was strange. There wasn't any indication of an injury, but maybe something happened that missed the box score?

4-2 sim puts us at four over .500 for the year, four games behind Pittsburgh. Three of those wins were of the one run variety, so thats nice.

My pitching won for me this week, as my hitting did just enough to get us the wins we did. Terry Drewitt tore the cover off the ball, hopefully a sign he's gonna heat up for us.
