    SIM COMPLETE - 1983 - Regular Season 7

    Next Sim: Thursday, Feb 7

    I'm loving Verizon FIOS so far. League file and HTML took about 4 minutes combined to upload. Still takes a little while to create the files but it doesn't totally kill my computer to upload them now.

        Agreed...I've had Fios for almost 3 years and it's great.

          3-3 this sim, with an injury to my #4 SP for 1-2 weeks.

          Having a pretty good year when that is my worst sim thus far.

              4-2 sim, another week at #1. Hitting the cover off the ball, too bad my pitching is almost as bad as my hitting is good. This is gonna be an interesting year for the Dinos.

                  JF went 7.2, gave up five hits, two walks, while striking out seven, but he gave up a 2-out RBI to SS Jack Dynes and the Bats won 1-0

                  Oh, and the torn back muscle strikes again! Philadelphia's 3B Jim Newlin is out seven months.

                      Decent sim, I won a series from Sin City and played Maine tough

                      Dave Balloun comes back next sim, so hopefully the offense is on the upswing.

                      My pitching has been solid this year but my offense is the absolute worst in the league. Hopefully, that gets better soon

                              Yeah, but he lasted only 1 inning against Virginia giving up 3 hits and 1 ER. Maybe he'll be even better now without the pressure of a 0.00 ERA.

                              The story for me is my pitching on the whole: a 2.97 staff ERA and a 2.36 ERA for the starters. If my middling offense can find a spark I may be able to catch Carolina. No complaints though, I am keeping pace for now.

                              Huge series coming up against Davenport (unfortunately no Tardif in this series) and then a road trip to Baltimore.
