This was a weird sim for Pawtucket. O'Loughlin comes up big and gets the win in the opener, but gives up 5 runs in 7 innings. My next two games: Puerias comes up huge with 1 run allowed in 8 innings and the pen blows it for the loss, then Orozco throws 8 innings and the bullpen blows it.

We lost 2 to open the year. Only real bright spot was D.T. Fitts who I traded for in the off-season. He went 8 and gave up one hit. Hopefully the rest of my staff picks it up next sim.

That second game was won on an error that helped the runner on third score.

The third game of the series, Thompson blew the 1-0 lead in the Top of the 9th.

Then Roy Sizer hits a 2-run shot to end the game.

I thought it was a great sim. :)

On the other hand we were 1 hit in the second game by McEvoy.

A 1-2 start is better than 0-3 and we are healthy! Wildcard here we come... oh wait that's next year!

Wow, 2-1 to start the season, nice! All close games as well. Had two outstanding pitching performances by Olbera and Haughey, and the bullpen was great.
