Huge blow for Wilmington losing reliever Matt Hannigan for his career.

A few trades this sim so please double check them to make sure I did everything right.

I saw that in the messages...couldn't believe that...a career ending over a torn back muscle from a 25-year old? That sucks.

Again my starting pitching takes a hit. I lose one of my SPs for 11-months. I'm still waiting for 2 to come off the DL from last year!

Edit: Clay, I sure hope those moves you just made help you...not a good start for you in spring training.

Judging by the performances of my players, and the Hannigan injury, I'm kind of inclined to just skip spring training altogether next season. It seems to teach us basically nothing about how a player will perform, while subjecting players (even those who are 25 and in the prime of their career) to ridiculous long-term injuries.

            Lame.

Reminder on the best way to view your team's ST stats.

IN GAME go to your team's home page. Click on Batting Stats (or Pitching Stats) and change the split to Spring Training.

I lost a hitter for 7 months with a torn back muscle too.

Is this some kind of epidemic?

My guy dislocated a finger while walking his dog.

                    Tough loss Sully.

Well, I feel your pain. I bitched a couple of times before, but let's be real, we know it's going to happen, and it does. I lost two guys, high prospects, 24 and 21...both for careers before. If I can shrug it off and move on, so can everyone else. Basically, sorry for your loss, but hey, it's life! (virtually of course...)

As for my team... if my pitching keeps doing what they're doing, we're gonna lose a lot of 11-10 games.

Well, this is the second guy I've lost, too. I lost a promising reliever a couple years ago to the same damn injury. I think I'm more pissed to see that I've lost a stud reliever to a career ending injury, while 2 players from another team suffered the same injury and will be back within the year. It's like rubbing salt on my wounds.
