This does suck, but I don't think it is a problem with the game because not everyone is having the same ammount of injuries. It is probably extremely bad luck.
I think it probably has more to do with the fact that you have an older team. It seems like the younger teams havn't been hit as hard as the older teams. It is bad luck that you've lost so many impact players though.
Injuries are set to "low" under the current settings.
I don't want this to sound like too much bitching.....but that is something I had zero control over.
I do feel sorry for some of the guys that were dealt a bad hand. Washington, Pittsburgh, and Philly are 3 that come to mind. They've got some geezers...

Yep and then second to last pick in the rookie draft this season. Gotta love the good luck.
That's one of the positives for my team, we've been relatively injury free this season. I don't think I've had one major injury to any of my starters. I'm also playing a lot of guys around 25 years old or younger who aren't that good, so it evens out.
I was able to avoid injuries up until this past month. In August alone, I lost my LF for 2 months, my 2b for 2 weeks, and my closer for 2 weeks. As soon as I was in position to take over the division lead...now I'm 3 games back, and fading fast.
