Reed was far and away the top Catcher by my scouts. I think it was a good pick.

Ditto.

Scouts had him consensus at 4-5-5-5-5, switch hitting, solid defense, and he is on the fast track to the bigs.

FYI, I'm on autopick and have enough players in my list to get through my pick. However, I probably won't be able to do the sandwich round tonight.

I'm not really big on taking RPs early, but Don Jones was best available by far. Plus, two of my scouts had him at "5" endurance...maybe when they get a closer look, they might find him capable of being a starter.

Yah he was on the top of my list for about the last 15-20 picks. Can't believe he actually fell to me.

Since we got two drafts today I have locked and loaded up the ole' auto drafter. Hopefully we can make some headway over the weekend. My heads gonna be spinning!

Went with SP Nate Davis who 2 of my scouts loved and 2 thought was mediocre. Hopefully the first two are right.

Sandwich round is done, so we're back on track. FYI, with the OSFL draft starting today I'm going to leave the draft timer on 4 hours for the 3rd round as well. We'll then switch it to 2 hours starting with the 4th round.

We have 2-3 weeks to finish this draft so as long as we keep up the current pace we should be fine.
