Well I'm thrilled to have signed O'Loughlin. He was asking for $19.5mm from me and ended up signing for $17.5 a year, so I'm happy about that. His BABIP was a bit inflated last year so I'm hoping he returns back to a norm which should bring his ERA back down, but he's a huge upgrade over the rest of Pawtucket's staff.

Can't wait to see the draft class when i get home.

I would say that 17.5 a year is a nice price for a pitcher of his caliber in a market where guys are asking for 20+.

Yeah it did. The original schedule wouldn't have allowed enough time to scout the class, IMO.

I noticed this too. I had targeted some guy to be my backup catcher. He didnt sign after one sim and I decided to instead just use one of my minors guys, so I withdrew the offer. Two sims later it turns out I signed him, along with a bunch of minors players that I determined I didn't need and withdrew my offer from. I guess I can just release them though.

Clay and the rest of the BLB for that matter... holy shit. Rex Knight... quick scout him.... If what my 80/80 scout says is correct... That's got to be the greatest prospect in BLB history.

Did some more quick scouting... and the OF talent is looking STRONG from what I can tell.

As far as Rex goes, my 80 hitting scout really likes him, but another highly rated scout isnt as excited about him. He's extremely raw though, so he's a real risk, IMO.
