Sim 24 Delayed

Just got home from the long weekend. I won't be running the sim tonight, but will resume tomorrow on our normal schedule.

Haha unfortunately that wouldn't leave much time for people to export, which is a big part of the reason I'm not running it tonight.

I figured that was the case and I was hoping the commish was taking a hard line against the people who don't read this board often enough or put enough into the game to be able to figure out that they needed to export between tonight and tomorrow night's sim. But alas, that appears to not be the case.

I'm taking a hard line against people who don't participate regularly, not people who can't be here every day, especially after a long weekend. Considering I havn't upgraded to the new version yet, backed anything up, etc, we'd be looking at midnight at the earliest to get the sim out. I think only giving people 9 hours is asking too much. Not to mention I'm dead tired and really don't feel like staying up until midnight.

I'm against this. My closer is scheduled to come off the DL after the next sim. I don't want to have to wait 2 more weeks for a guy that's only on the DL for one more day.

It sucks when you're checking the forums every 5 minutes after 9pm, and when a "Sim 24" thread is finally posted, it's followed by the word "DELAYED".
