Minor league rosters..

I've tried to change them every sim so my top 3 draft picks were starting, and I export the finished rosters, but it doesn't work. Is there any reason why the exports are ignoring my changes?

Are you exporting from the screen of the minor league team?

I don't know for sure, but if you are, then that could be the problem. When the commish imports, it takes in imports for the teams in the league he is in. If he doesn't go into the minor league, then specific exports for those teams wont come through. At least I don't believe so.

But, if you export from your Major League teams screen, then it exports changes for the entire organization. I'm sure that you export your major league team every sim, but maybe you are making your minor league changes after you do the major league export.

Like I said, I could be totally wrong, and I apologize if I am, but I think that this may be the case.

According to my records, it's been a couple sims since your last export. Like robster said, make sure you're exporting from your Major League team. If you make changes to your minor league teams, make sure to switch back to your major league team before exporting. It includes all data for your minor league teams as well so no need to export from them individually.

I thought I was having this problem and I confirmed that tonight. I moved 2 guys from A to AA & AAA and they weren't moved this sim. Any ideas why? I don't have a button to export from anything but BLB so there's no way I'm exporting from the minors. Only thing I can think of is after I make a few changes I hit save to make sure I don't lose changes I just made. Once I'm all done I do an export. Sometimes I do more than 1 export if I tweak a little more.

each team has an export button in the bottom right corner.

if you are on the lineup screen for one of your affiliated teams, it will only export for that team.

You have to make sure that the screen you are on has your Major League teams name on the top of the screen, or it will only export for that particular level of the minors.

Unless I'm missing something I don't have that button. When I go to my ML team that's when the IMPORT/EXPORT buttons show up.

They did change that in the latest patch. You used to be able to import/export from the individual minor league team screens, but now you can only do it at the major league level.

That's not your ML team... It's CHI.

CHI is the minor league team.

Yep...it's not my ML team. They were saying not to export from your minor leagues but I was saying that's the only way to export since the button doesn't show up in the minors.

I'm pretty sure I could never export from minors. After I originally saw this post and the first response I checked to make sure I didn't export from minors...then I was confused since I couldn't export from minors.

Well, I guess we'll see what happens after this sim as I moved the same guys again.

Yes, you definitely used to be able to export from minor league teams. I like the change though because it makes it less confusing.

I'll test moving players between the minors today and see what happens.
