  • SIM#23 COMPLETE

I'll be away for Labor Day weekend so Sunday's sim will be pushed back to Monday. Tuesday's sim will take place at it's normal time so there won't be much time between them. Please don't upgrade to patch 3 until I give the word. I'll be testing it early next week and hopefully we'll be ready to go for Thursday's sim.

3-3. I went 2-0 vs the best team in the DL, then 1-3 vs Pittsburgh who's in the basement of my divison.

The top 3 teams in the Ale division all seem to be treading water. The stout division should have quite a race down the stretch.

        Only 40 games left...

This game sucks. I hope this patch makes me go 40-0 and not 1-3 against the worst team in the league.

Interesting enough, the Dinos could've been 3.5 back instead of 5.5 back if they wouldn't have blown a save and given up three runs in the ninth.

I will say this about my team. We're consistent. We don't sweep many teams, but every week we seem to be above .500 4-3 this week. Just keep on keeping on.

In fact we haven't had a month under .500 yet.

McOwl was hurt again, but only minor. We had a shutout by commitee after he left in the first inning, eeking out a 1-0 game.

Mc Evoy continues his tear in his Cy Young run. His undefeated streak is now 12 games. He's won 10 straight. He's now 16-6 with a 2.58 ERA.

The offense continues to sputter. We only hit 3 HR's all week.

Man the Stout race is heating up. Could we have a one game playoff?

Blah, blah, blah...oooh look at me, I'm Jistic, my team is in first and I have a good pitcher! Try having a good pitcher on a suck-ass last place team.

Joe O'Connellan has 14 wins (he was hurt for a while) and carrys a 2.47 ERA.

It's going to be hard for me to not install the patch, because my other leagues will more than likely require it. in fact I know that one will for sure.

I've been testing it all day and everything seems to work fine. I'm ok with switching over before Monday's sim, but some people have already exported and I'd need them to do so again.

Break up the Bulldogs. 9-4 run over the past two weeks. Hopefully my guys can keep it going within the division this week. As injuries begin to mount for my divisional opponents, it seems like now's the time to make a move.

Due to Kellum's month-long injury, his triple crown chances are pretty much toast. But if he weren't hitting .371, his teammate Raimundo Santana would be a candidate right now. 1st in RBI (89), 3rd in BA (.318), and only 4 HR behind the league leader. Kellum's league-leading .371 average will rob Santana of a triple crown chance, and Santana's league-leading 89 RBI will rob Kellum.

                            Oh well.

Since I've taken over the Javelinas we've gone 11-7. Not bad, but not where I want to be.
Our lead in the Lager Division has dropped 3 games to 5.5.
It doesn't help that Hyundai has only lost 5 games in the same stretch.

This week, we split a huge series with Hyundai. Although both of our losses were only by 1 run.

Sergio Lumar seems to be struggling under my rule, he's only hitting .211 since I took over, that is a far cry from the .407 he hit in July while winning the batter of the month.

Hopefully the fat contract he just signed will motivate him to play harder, or there will be trouble.
