  • SIM COMPLETE - 1982 - Brewmasters Championship

Congrats to Wilmington. Great season everyone.

    Next Sim:

    Sunday Dec 23

    Notes:
You should decline any options or release any arbitration eligible players that you don't want in your next export.

Also, can you let me know if anyone got email saying your fan interest or market size changed?

Looking at my stats, my bullpen didn't allow a single run in 12 playoff games. Insane.

Down 3 games to 1 to Sin City, we allow just 1 run over the next 3 to win it all. Great series, Sin City. You had a awesome season.

This year's FA crop is going to be great. Next year is going to be very interesting.

Bill Johnson decided to exercise his option for this season. What a shock!! A 85 year old man wants to take my $16.5 million.

Add on to that that my budget dropped by almost $12,000,000. Now I'm broke AND the worst team in the league!!! Yeah!!!! Colonial Fever - Catch It!!!! And die....

Andrew - I did some comparing and no one's market size changed. Budgets on the other hand, as we expected, changed drastically for some teams. I threw together a quick calculation.

              Washington Bats +$3,994,774.00
              California Wildfire +$3,405,933.00
              Syracuse Slammers +$295,358.00
              Pawtucket Patriots +$74,597.00
              ----
              Wilmington Wildcats -$524,089.00
              Pittsburgh Millers -$742,519.00
              Windy City Playboys -$1,262,544.00
              Philadelphia Freedom -$1,267,273.00
              Maine Guides -$1,312,887.00
              Sin City Gamblers -$1,368,471.00
              Hartford Whalers -$1,701,713.00
              Los Lunas Javelinas -$1,723,157.00
              Davenport Brawlers -$2,773,961.00
              Indianapolis Clowns -$4,232,558.00
              Carolina Tobs -$4,272,773.00
              Mississippi Storm -$4,316,490.00
              Denver Bulls -$4,716,164.00
              Los Alamos Bandits -$6,020,159.00
              Hyundai Dinos -$7,278,594.00
              Baltimore Bulldogs -$9,289,279.00
              Virginia Colonials -$10,248,576.00
              Dallas Snappers -$12,209,992.00

Obviously, most teams are usually quite a bit under budget anyway, however, it may effect some people's plans during what will easily be our richest FA period in league history.

He opted out but he IS willing to negotiate a contract. He basically wants $60 million for three years.

My question is, by the sim schedule, I will only be able to offer him ONE contract? Because we are simming 21 days next? Sucks...

You'll be able to offer him 2 contracts. 1 in the next sim, and then 1 more right before FA. He might end up resigning during FA but there's not much we can do to prevent that.

Very interesting numbers. I'm surprised that they came down without any intervention on my part. I was considering lowering the ticket price value slightly but never made the change.

I give up on trying to figure out the financial system in this game.

Congrats Sully, nice job keeping it in the IL.

Issam Ghaniy is now a three time champion, for three different teams (Los Lunas, Carolina, Wilmington).
