Dammit Skerik, your Single A team handed Cade Roberts his first loss this week. :(

Funny, until you mentioned your minor league teams I realized I've never looked at the standings of my minor league teams. I keep up with them quite a bit but for some reason never looked at their standings. I guess I should've sooner...maybe it would give me some hope for the future! All of my minor league teams are in 1st place, 1 team has already clinched and another has a record of 73-42...look out next year BLB!! :)

          3-4, disappointing week.

Two of my deadline acquisitions, Soca and Ramez, were outstanding. Soca logged 9 innings during the week, allowing zero runs. Ramez pitched 7 innings of shutout ball, earning a win over Washington.

Delira, that bum from Philly. I think he was 2 for 22. We'll have to do something about that losing attitude he brought with him.

Another good week for Maine, finishing 4-2.

            New players:
            D. Burford: 5.2 IP, 8 H, 5 R (only 2 ER) and got the win in an 8-7 victory over Syracuse. Not great, but still better than what I had before.

            C. Alicca: 3 G, 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 4 K. Looks like a very solid pick up after the first week.

            T. Hassett: 2 G, 2 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 1 HR. Terrible.

            A. Caballero: 6-18, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 4 R. Good start for Gold Mine, who is platooning in RF with Joe Vargas. He should get the majority of the starts however since he's a LH hitter.

Why can't we get players like that?

WE've been treading water. McOwl's been injured so the staff has been pushed to the limit. Thankfully we didn't trade Cobellan as he's stepped up nicely.

Also Arce finally went yard. He's been in a terrible slump in July, hopefully he's waking up.
