If I buy it... how do I add this league? Just download the files? Or is there a way to upgrade 2007 to OOTP8?

Copy and paste the brewers.lg folder from OOTP 2007\saved_games to OOTP8\saved_games

DL'd OOTP8 today. Only 6 bucks, and as a show of support to OOTP Developments, I went through with it.

Me too. Had to. It is much quicker which makes it worth the small fee by itself.

I haven't received an email coupon for OOTP 8. Does that mean I will have to pay full price?

If you activate it using your OOTP 2007 registration code you'll get the discount.

Thanks, I think I still have that code so I guess I will go for it. Isn't OOTP 9 going to come out in a few months though?

I assume you are running on a pc. Go into your control panel and click on the elicense control folder, keep going to the SI folder and right click on the OOTP 2007 icon. Select unlicense and you will find you order #. Be sure to hit cancel once you have the #.

You should also have a receipt.txt file in the OOTP directory that has it.

Didn't want to work for me so I had to pay 20 bucks....

Also it's not running any faster for me yet. But oh well.

You have I think a number of days to return it and receive a full refund.

Call elicense and have them cancel your order.

Then go through the process again to ensure you get your discount.

If the extra 14 bucks doesn't matter to you then don't worry about it. But, you should take advantage of the discount.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd pay the 20 bucks for OOTP8. The upgrades/fixes aren't significant enough to warrant me doing so.

6 bucks? Yeah, that's no big deal.
