another 5-1 sim and the division lead increases. everything seems to be clicking right now. and, much like the commish, while i don't expect any pity for anyone, these 1-2 week injuries are really getting on my nerves....seems like i get a new one every sim.

There aren't any buyers - ask Clay. You have the only second place team with more than a remote chance of winning. What's gone wrong this year - injuries, ratings hits, players not performing up to their ratings or something else?

No injuries, we just aren't hitting like we're capable of. Everyone in my lineup has dropped off considerably. Can't get the hits when we need them, and the pitching isn't quite as good either (though that's still fine).

From the looks of the division races, I'm not sure this is a seller's market anyway.

The Good:
-5-2 sim
-Recently acquired INF Mark MacAdie is hitting .281 with a .785 OPS
-Starting catcher Keita Uchiyama is tearing the cover off the ball this month

The Bad:
-Starting CF Dan Hogan is out for 2 weeks with a scratched cornea
-Starting 3B Jorge Taracena's averaged has dropped to a season low .227, despite his .372 OBP
-Promising prospect C Benedicto Valbuena is hitting just .176 in 51 at bats as the backup catcher. He will be given one more sim before a change is made at the position.

This next sim, I host California, while division leading Wilmington travels to the Windy City. Could be a great sim to try and take a cut at the lead.
