I voted Huxham. He deserves it.

Britt Bovey is the only Bandit that would realistically get voted in. Bing might have a shot with a few players having down years, but not this year. Vote Bovey!

I'm a little surprised Lamberts didn't make it in at 2B but he is old and his power numbers certainly won't be helped at my park :)

Iaizarry is putting together a solid season but Lumar is doing far better. I don't really have a strong All-Star candidate at any of the positions. The best I have is probably Archie Murray as a pitcher but he won't make it either.

Minor league All-Stars on the other hand... lol

btw, how does minor league all-stars work? The game selects them right?

I have to make a strong case for my closer as well, Pedro Fuentes. He was my top pick in the expansion draft and has had one bad game that makes his stats look good, but not great. His numbers don't jump out at you at first glance, but there was one horrendous outing in April where he didn't retire a batter and gave up 5 runs, he's been filthy.

Excluding that one game, here are his stats:
                0.83 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 27 Ks in 21 2/3 innings pitched

He's been huge for my team- he didn't give up an earned run in all of May and has been lights out from the pen. Fuentes could be a very nice part of the DL bullpen :)

I know one thing for sure... if I have any say... Fuentes will be on the WBC Mexico team.

We have the lab looking at his DNA right now, we think he might actually be Cuban! (We need some pitching help!)

This will be our worst showing for all stars ever. I couldn't even vote for many of them. I didn't vote for one position player. Just one starter, and one reliever.

Since we're still short ~5 votes, and the DL 1b spot is still very much up for grabs...

                        Vote for Keppel.

He's finally eligible to be in the leaderboards. His numbers are tops for avg, obp, slg, ops, vorp, and rc/27.

The only people I am pimping are McOwl, he's undefeated, great era. And Simmons. Old Blue is having the best year of his career, his numbers are obscene.

I know this guy isn't going to make it, but Lou Walkup, http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_1768.html
is 7-1 with a 2.69 ERA, plus he's currently on a 21 inning scoreless streak. While those numbers are just ok for the IL, I really think Lou deserves some pub whether he makes the game or not... thus this post is born!

Also wanted to pimp one more guy as a backup for the All-Star game...

Joe Truex! He's getting killed in 1B voting, but the guy is probably the second best offensive player in the IL right now behind Campoveroe.

These are his rankings for all of the IL, not just 1B.
Truex is 2nd in SLG., 2nd in OPS, 4th in VORP, 2nd in Runs created, 1st in isolated power, 3rd in runs, 2nd in total bases, 5th in 2B's, 3rd in RBI's, T-1st in HR's.

So liquidcash, or Sully, make sure Truex makes the team!
