      That sucks man.

I've only had 3 guys have their potential change, 2 increases. Just last sim I got good news on my potential closer of the future, Errol Blue, his ratings took a noticable jump.

when you get a notice that someone has their potential increase or decrease, do they tell you by how much and where? Or do you just have to rely on memory as to what their ratings looked like in the past?

There's no "ratings history" that I know of which I find to be one of the biggest short comings of OOTP. I have my scouts pretty active, so the last scouting report on my guys is pretty recent so I usually just go to them, check the ratings, then do a quick scout and see how much they improved.

Yeah, I've suggested an idea to keep past scouting reports but no luck yet. The problem is that the scouting file is a big chunk of the league file size already so if you were keeping past reports as well it would grow even faster.

                    Bump 1984 addition:

Nine drops, two increases. And one of the increases, the guy dropped a month later so bad that he was released. So basically, this season, Washington, one up, nine down.

Anyone got a ratio as bad this season?

I have not but it seems like most of the increases I get are for guys who weren't prospects before the bump and at best become marginal prospects afterwards. Meanwhile many of the drops have been to legitimate prospects at least before they take the hit. I think the way this is handled is one of the weakest aspects of this game.

10 drops, 9 increases. Seems like a lot, either way.

Agree 1000%. One of the biggest reasons I'm excited for the switch to OOTP 9.
