Get everyone who is on auto-pick to pick for themselves.

Seriously though, it's extremely tedious and time consuming to auto pick for everyone. I didn't have time today and probably won't until Monday. As much as I like this utility, I think we'll probably ditch it for next season. We need a utility that auto picks on it's own. It's just not practical when people don't participate in the draft.

I think the problem is that you were too generous with your draft policy of, "if you dont want to pick, I"ll do what your head scout wants anyways." I think if you kept the utility and went to a random number generator route if people dont pick it would be faster for you and encourage people to draft on their own.

I am sorry, I thought it speeded things up to be on auto pick but I see your point. I don't really care anymore as I am probably just going to cut most of my remaining picks to get to the roster limits. It would be good if you could just auto pick the whole rest of the draft all at once but I guess a few owners would object.

In any case I will pick for myself if it ever gets to be my turn again.

I mentioned earlier about shortening to 10 rounds... what if instead, next season, we did 10 rounds in the forums and then the last 5 rounds were AUTO'd for all?

Good idea. In fact, it's so good that I'm going to do it this year. I just don't have time this week to finish auto picking for everyone.

I'm planning on evaluating Getch's updated draft utility (we used his 1st version last year) which allows the utility to auto pick for people. If it's good, we might go back to it for next year. If not we'll probably live draft 10 rounds and auto pick 5.
