    • I have one guy left in my queue, if he's gone by the time I pick, then put me on auto-draft until tomorrow.

I won't be home until tomorrow afternoon.

      • Two of my scouts really liked Ruben Marin, so hopefully he's a nice steal for me at 101.

        • Any thoughts on shortening the draft next season? Maybe 10 rounds? Do we really need 15? I actually find it sort of tough to cut players to make room in A Ball.

          • agreed. I think 10 would be great... Is it possible to switch the amount of rounds in the draft once it has already been picked at the creation of the league?

It's recommended to have 5 rounds for every level of minors. Otherwise I think you eventually start running out of players.

              • I agree with Andrew- it'd deplete the minors pretty quickly and everybody's minor system would look like mine ;)

15 is a good number IMHO

                • Let's make some hay today fellas!!! Let's try to at least do one whole round. It doesn't seem like it, but we're actually creeping up on June (in-game) very quickly.

                  • looks like your wish might come true... after Syracuse picks, the 14 out 15 picks that end the 7th round either have the draft utility turned on or have asked Andrew to pick for them!

                    • We had a decent day. Davenport is back on manual for this pick only.

We basically have about a week to finish. Hopefully those of you who are still participating will continue to make use of your list, as you have been.

                      • I made my pick which was the last player in my Queue. I'm glad I asked about that Artie Ward business. The order they appeared in the utility was different than the order in the game.

I know what you mean, Stu had me send him the player # when I picked Artie Ward (the 16 yr old, who I had pretty highly rated) just to make sure no mistakes were made.

You'd think a decent commish would have noticed that the draft class had too Artie Ward's in it...especially since they play the same position.

You also would think a college graduate would know when to use "too", and when to use "two". Ah, live and learn....live and learn...

you would also think that a person who wanted to correct another's grammar would use proper grammar himself....but you'd be wrong.
