I was really hoping Reed would just keep falling. Good pick.

Ended up taking Miguel Angel Padilla, the power hitting OF.

He has decent speed, and good intangibles. A project at 16, but I like him.

Good pick with Solis, I was probably going to pick him if he was available. I think I've got my pick, should have it in shortly.

Good Pick on Negron for CHI. I think he's a sleeper. As much as a late first rounder can be a sleeper.

Don't know who Davenport is about to snag at #21, but I really like their first round based on the 2 they got and what's left.

Made my pick. Davenport's back on the board. Now to figure out who to take with my sandwich pick.

I have my pick narrowed down to 2 players. Hopefully Davenport doesn't take the guy I want more.

Well I was hoping he wouldn't pick Solis, but that didn't work out. Hopefully Ramirez will be a good one, my scouts like him. I have to get some good prospects in this draft, my past drafts haven't gone too well and my minors are pretty bare right now.

As are mine. I have a few decent relievers and thats about it. Our only bright spot is Kubota, who is one of the best catching prospects.

Draft utility is broken. That wasn't my top pick.

All the other players I was considering (Padilla, Solis, Negron) went after I took Ford. I guess that's encouraging in that it proves my scouts know what they're doing. Ford's intangibles are relatively poor, but I don't have much coming up through the system at 3B and my scouts were more agreed on him than on any of the other players and I wanted a power bat out of this draft.

Everyone should re-check their preference list and the list of who was picked. Because we back tracked a few picks, a guy you wanted might end up still being there.

With Ramirez off the board, I went with Cy Kirkpatrick. He's a reliever, but all my scouts love his potential, so hopefully he can turn into a dominant closer in a couple years.
