DFA has been an ongoing problem. People forget to remove players from DFA which really slows down the sim process for me and is a huge annoyance. With that in mind the following policies will be in effect starting with this season:
- The in-game length of each sim will be posted in the VBulletin Calendar. You can hover your mouse over each entry to see it.
- Players on your DFA should have at least this number of days remaining.
- Players whose DFA time expires will be handled in the following manner:
1) Attempt move to AAA
2) If he refuses, assign to 40 man and active roster
3) If there is no room, the player will be released. No exceptions.
- If your team goes into heavy debt because a player with a large contract was released, you will be placed on financial probation and be required to take immediate steps to get out of debt.
- The following rule will now be enforced (regardless of whether the player accepts a minor league assignment).
Fines will be posted in each sim thread.
